Even before the Sepawa Congress began, we were out and about in Berlin. We had a number of store checks to do to discover beauty trends: our list included the newly opened Sephora, the Douglas flagship store, of course, and the numerous counters in Kadewe. New body care concepts could be found at Lush, natural cosmetics at the Belladonna specialist store and Korean cosmetics at the K-Beauty Store.

Sepawa kicked off on Wednesday, opening its doors at 8:30 a.m. At our stand, we presented the latest active ingredients from our suppliers Mibelle Biochemistry, CODIF Technologie Naturelle, Oat Cosmetics and Transactiva.

We even had a pre-launch from Mibelle Biochemistry before the official launch. More on this from 5 November 2025! In the poster exhibition area, our supplier Oat Cosmetics presented natural oat peptides with the active ingredient EcoPep.

The programme of presentations alternated between exciting scientific talks, introductions to new raw materials and interesting marketing insights. In the Innovation Forum, our Senior Sales Manager Birgit Gertchen-Ohligschläger spoke about PhytoCellTec™ Exosomes from Mibelle Biochemistry, an exciting ingredient that contains plant exosomes and also stimulates exosome production in the skin.

On Thursday evening, the Sepawa Congress after-show event was on the agenda, which took place at the Arena Berlin for the first time this year. Live music and a DJ accompanied the evening, and it was nice to see many familiar faces.
